E-safety
On Friday 11th November the ITASS team was presented with Capita SIMS accreditation status by members of the Capita Childrens Services before the Newham divisional director and representative head teachers from Newham schools. ITASS is a traded service which comes under the remit of CYPS.
ITASS offers a complete ICT solution to schools which includes curriculum and technical support in addition to specialist support for users of the School information Management System (SIMS). The accreditation is a lengthy and involved process. ITASS had to present detailed evidence of all aspects of the service provided to schools and Capita conducted an independent school survey to assess customer satisfaction. Following a structured assessment of the services ITASS offer, and the positive feedback received from schools, Capita awarded ITASS with accreditation status for the fourth consecutive time.
