Becta eSafety
The internet is opening new opportunities for everyone, promoting creativity and effective learning. To use technology effectively requires an awareness of the benefits and risks, and an understanding of their effective use in the classroom. This section aims to highlight the safety issues and provide advice for schools on how to use technology safely.

Becta Safetynet
Safetynet is a mailing list for anyone who wants to discuss and share information to support the development of e-safety good practice within educational organisations. This forum is for teachers, Local Authority personnel and others who have an interest and or responsibility in this area.

NCH
NCH campaigns for wider access to information and communication technology for children from less advantaged backgrounds. We also recognise that the internet enables those who would harm children to have wider and more direct access to them. Therefore we strongly promote online safety for all children.

CEOP
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre works across the UK and maximises international links to tackle child sex abuse wherever and whenever it happens.

Think u know
Find the latest information on the sites you like to visit, mobiles and new technology. Find out what’s good, what’s not and what you can do about it.

If you look after young people there’s an area for you too – with resources you can use in the classroom, at home or just to get with it.

Most importantly, there’s also a place which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online.

London Grid for Learning
Here you will find information, resources and inks for all levels of users regarding internet safety, equipment security and use of ICT in schools.
