effective learning. To use technology effectively requires an awareness of the benefits
and risks, and an understanding of their effective use in the classroom. This section
aims to highlight the safety issues and provide advice for schools on how to use
technology safely.

Safetynet is a mailing list for anyone who wants to discuss
and share information to support the development of e-safety good practice within
educational organisations. This forum is for teachers, Local Authority personnel
and others who have an interest and or responsibility in this area.
